Bill Bennett
After earning a degree in Systems Engineering with high distinction from the University of Virginia, Bill earned a Masters in Music Performance from DePaul University. While performing as a professional singer (Lyric Opera of Chicago, Chicago Symphony), he founded Velvet Singer LLC (http://www.velvetsinger.com), a technology startup offering a customized CMS for singers, built using FileMaker and PHP. Bill also serves on the Board of Directors for Chicago Chorale, on the Fundraising Board for African agricultural non-profit, One Acre Fund, and as a Deacon at Chicago’s historic Moody Church.
