Symantec, a global leader in providing security, storage and systems management solutions, faced a challenge in its consumer products unit. The consumer products group handles rebate offers for Symantec’s market-leading desktop products. Managing hundreds of rebate offers across multiple product lines such as Norton Antivirus or Norton Internet Security, and multiple channel partners was a daunting task. Much of the key tracking and analysis was performed in spreadsheets or in disparate, non-integrated online applications.
