We encourage FileMaker Pro developers familiar with web programming to register for this course. These advanced topics assume students are already familiar with FileMaker Pro and HTML. XML experience will be beneficial as well.

Examine XML-based publishing options in FileMaker Server 8 Advanced and learn how to build websites using FileMaker Pro 8 databases as a backend. Review the XSLT style sheets used for Custom Web Publishing and learn the basics of XML and XSLT.

Study how to build an XSLT-driven Web application using FileMaker Pro 8 using a hands-on approach. Learn how to work with XSLT templates, write style sheets, and how to publish FileMaker Pro 8 data to the Web.
