Position: PHP Programmer
Location: San Mateo, CA (San Francisco Bay Area)

We have an immediate opening for a PHP Programmer in our San Mateo, CA office. The PHP programmer writes code to create data driven web applications using PHP, SQL, XML and related technologies. This position requires an individual that can write code to fulfill requirements and functional specs using sound coding practices that lead to sustainable and stable code bases. The ability to work on a team is critical, you must coordinate with tech leads and project managers to provide estimates of programming time, assist in architectural decisions, and produce quality results on time and on budget.

• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
• Thorough understand and experience with PHP, especially database interaction.
• Thorough understanding and experience with SQL, PostgresSQL is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of relational database theory and application (ERDs, joins, etc.)
• Experience with related technologies, XHTML, XML, Javascript, CSS, etc.
• Strong debugging/problem solving skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them in the real world.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Flex is a plus.
• Experience with Unix and web server configuration a plus.
• Network/Sys Admin on Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux a plus.
• Zend PHP certification is a plus.
