Position: Application Developer Internship
Location: Chicago, IL

Responsibilities

Interns complete training, build technical and consulting skills, and assist Soliant project teams in creating software that we deliver to our clients. They are responsible for writing code, following standards, providing and working to estimates, and for tracking both time and progress on projects. Specific assignments may vary depending on experience and skills. Key responsibilities include:

• Training and learning new technologies. Writing software.
• Providing estimates and progress updates to Project Managers and Technical Leads.
• Logging time on projects; taking responsibility for delivering components on time and within budget.
• Communication with project teams: identifying risks, escalating to both Project Managers and Technical Leads as necessary.

Requirements

• Strong academic record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity, drive, creativity, and a desire to learn.
• Attention to detail, commitment to quality.
• Programming skills and experience with FileMaker Pro, PHP, mobile development, or Adobe Flex, a plus.

Pay
