Responsibilities
Soliant Consulting provides custom software development services and is a Platinum-level member of the FileMaker Business Alliance, a Registered Partner of Salesforce.com and a Zend PHP Solution Partner. Due to continuous growth, we are looking for an individual with a combination of client consultation skills and process analysis skills to join our team as a Business Analyst. Key responsibilities include:
- Business process analysis and design.
- Working closely with business users to gather business requirements and translate them to functional business requirements, including use cases and screen mock-ups, based on interactions with the client.
- Working closely with the technical team to ensure that the software developed adheres to the requirements agreed upon with the business users.
- Testing software before it is presented to the business users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate degree a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be working with sophisticated clients, both in person and virtually and must be proficient at bridging between business needs and technical concepts.
- At least 2 years experience with SDLC, including process analysis, requirements development and testing.
- Solid knowledge of database systems and concepts through either education or work experience.
- Attention to detail, commitment to quality.
- Disciplined self-starter, able to be highly productive both working alone and in close collaboration with a team.
