1. Download the FlexFM source code. While we may change the location of the source code from time to time, we will always link to the most current stable source from http://flexfm.us/source-code. Currently, we are distributing the source as a zip archive. If enough interest dictates, we will likely move the SVN (Subversion) repository to a public location. By default, Flex Builder does not support SVN repositories. Furthermore, the repository currently hosting FlexFM is inside a VPN. Since both of these issues increase complexity, we settled on static package distribution for the time being. This is not because we feel the project has no room for improvement. To the contrary, we invite input from the developer communities on both sides.
2. By default, the Flex Development Perspective shows the Navigator (Project Navigator) in the upper left. If you have modified the Development Perspective so that it doesn’t display the Navigator, go to the Window menu and select Project Navigator. In the empty space inside the Navigator pane, right-click or control-click (Mac OS) to bring up a context menu. Choose Import.

3. Expand the General node and choose Existing Projects into Workspace. Click Next.

4. You have two options when selecting the source. If your browser automatically unzipped the package, you can choose the first option and select the unzipped source folder. If you still have the FlexFM source zipped, choose the second option and select the zip archive. Either way, you should see the FlexFM project. When importing from a directory, it is highly recommended that you choose Copy projects into workspace. Click Finish.

5. You have now installed the FlexFM package.
