The Inspector is the worst feature of Filemaker 11. It would be all right if Filemaker had not roeevmd the contextual menus that do the same thing, the ability to use keyboard shortcuts and had not eliminated the small Object Info pallet . The Inspectors take up to much screen real estate and interfere with production especially when using a laptop. Using the Inspector increases the development time by at least 10% on new layouts even when using a large monitor. I have had to go back to Filemaker 10 for new development because of the Inspector .Filemaker is probably to busy developing Bento to pay attention to what is happening with their flagship product. What would Filemaker Pro be like if they used the resources used to develop Bento to improve Filemaker Pro Advanced and make it a first class development tool?
